We've been busy this summer
Over the summer, we brought together a group of practitioners and specialists to take it forward.

BrickThink is no longer one person
BrickThink shipped its first release as a single-builder project. One certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® practitioner writing the code, the copy, the pricing page and the support replies. That was workable for getting five releases out. It is not workable for the next stage.
Over the summer we brought together a group of practitioners and specialists to take the platform forward.
Why now
Five releases in, the constraint stopped being engineering capacity and started being everything around it. Facilitators were asking questions about session design that deserved a facilitator's answer, not a developer's. Feature decisions were being made without anyone in the room whose job it was to argue the other side. A product that encodes a method built on multiple perspectives was being made by one.
The five stages are named in the product for a reason: skill-building, individual model, shared model, system model, and guiding principles. The method treats a single view as an input, not an output. The way we were building did not align with how we ask people to work.

What changes
Facilitation decisions now go through people who run workshops. Product decisions get argued before they ship rather than after. Support and documentation stop being a single person's evenings.
We expect the release cadence to stay roughly where it is. More people does not mean faster shipping in the short term, and we would rather say that now than explain it later.
What does not change
The software stays free and open source under Apache 2.0. Self-hosting costs nothing and will continue to cost nothing. The source is public, the licence is permissive, and anyone can run their own instance without paying us.
The hosted instance charges for optional AI session reports. We launched saying free forever, no paid tier. We were wrong about what running the hosted service costs, and we reversed that position in the Nightcrawler release. The software is still free; the managed AI services are not. Session Report is €9 per session, €29 monthly or €290 yearly. Client-Ready is €45, €119 or €1,190. Full Findings is €60, €159 or €1,590. Self-hosting removes the paywall entirely.
Remote LSP remains a complement to in-person delivery, not a replacement. A larger team does not change that, and nobody who has joined thinks otherwise.
The method stays the frame. We build the tool that serves it
